Trigeminal Neuralgia
Trigeminal neuralgia is a chronic pain condition that affects the trigeminal nerve, which plays a major role in carrying sensation from face to brain. Majority of the cases found in the age group of 50 or older and predominantly in females than male, all experience the pain that is similar to an electric shock on the face. If this condition persists, persons may experience pain when they do or move face, just like when they do brushing teeth or chewing etc., this condition can be cured by medicines in mild cases but in some people it get worsen, in those people physicians treat differently like medication, injection or surgery.
