Herniated disk
A herniated disk is an asymptomatic spinal disk condition that can occur in any part of the spine, but often occurs in the lower back (lumbar spine) and also occurs in the neck (cervical spine). Depending on the location where the herniated disk is, it can result in different conditions like pain, numbness, or weakness in an arm or leg.

People who do have painful symptoms, improve over time by medication and change in physical activities and stress. Surgery also needed in severe symptom cases is usually not necessary and this will not relieve the problem.
