Shoulder pain is any pain that is caused by swelling, damage, or bone changes around the shoulder joint. Other causes of shoulder pain may be due to the  Arthritis, Broken shoulder bone, Bone spurs,   Nerve injury, Dislocation of the shoulder and Tears of the rotator cuff tendons etc. Some patients complins of referred pain i.e. pain due to the problems in other areas of the body such as cervical neck or lungs. Proper diagnosis is needed to differentiate the pain type.
