Cervical Spondylosis
Cervical spondylosis or arthritis of the neck is very common and worsens with age of both sexes that wear and tear affecting the spinal disks in the neck region. As the disks of the neck region dehydrate and shrink, signs of osteoarthritis develop such as bone spurs.
Cervical spondylosis is very common at the age of 60 or older and worsens with age. About 85% of people at the age of 60 are affected by cervical spondylosis.
Most of the cases a symptomatic cervical spondylosis will occur, even in symptomatic cases no surgical intervention is needed except with some pain management under medical supervision.
